Excavation Questions

Have a question we didn't cover? Call (585) 530-7974 or send us a message.

Can you remove old concrete or asphalt and build something new there?

Yes. We break up and haul away the old concrete or asphalt, then build the new patio, walkway, driveway or lawn right on the cleaned up base.

What is the difference between land clearing and leveling?

Land clearing removes brush, small trees and debris to open up space. Leveling cuts and fills uneven or sloped ground to make a flat, solid area for a lawn, patio, driveway or building. Many projects need both.

What makes a gravel driveway last?

The base. A driveway built on properly excavated, compacted ground holds up to daily use and Rochester winters much better than gravel simply spread on top.

Can you cut a trail through my property?

Yes. We cut paths and trails so you can walk, ride or get equipment where you need to go.

Jobs big or small, we do it all.
